The Department of Information Technology hosted on October 5-7, 2009 the 10th International Conference on Web Information Systems Engineering WISE 2009. The aim of this tenth edition of the conference series on Web Information Systems Engineering was to provide an international forum for researchers, professionals, and industrial practitioners to share their knowledge in the rapidly growing area of Web technologies, methodologies and applications. During the conference about 50 papers were presented by authors comming from 17 countries from all over the world.
