WOJCIECH WIZA received the M.Sc. degree in Communication and Electronics from the Poznan University of Technology in 1992, and M.Sc. degree in Computer Science from the Poznan University of Technology in 1994. He received the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science in 2005 from the Technical University of Gdansk.

From 1992 to 1996 he was an assistant in the Database Team, and next in the Signal and Image Processing Team at the Franco-Polish School of New Information and Communication Technologies (EFP). Since 1996 he has been with the Department of Information Technology (DIT) at the Poznan University of Economics.

Since 2007 he is Managing Director of the ARCO Center - company devoted to promotion and sale of the ARCO System.

He participated in several industrial and research projects concerning business process reengineering, Internet and intranet applications, multimedia databases, and virtual reality. He has been also a WebMaster at EFP and DIT, responsible for designing and maintaining web sites.

He is independent expert of the European Commission, acting as a reviewer of FP7 project proposals. He is also in independent expert of "Foresight Poland 2020" program and reviewer of "Innovative Economy" Operational Program

He is a member of Informatics and Electronic Economy Faculty Council.
