JACEK CHMIELEWSKI received the M.Sc. degree in Electronics and Telecommunication from the Poznan University of Technology in 2001. During the studies he participated in commercial projects concerning the development of Internet applications. In 2008 he received the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the Technical University of Gdansk and in 2017 the habilitation from the Wrocław University of Science and Technology. From 2000 to 2001 he was the 'main network specialist' in the Regional Government IT Center in Poznan. Since 2001 he has been with the Department of Information Technology at the Poznan University of Economics, where currently he is an assistant professor. His current research interests include smart multi-device applications, mobile technology, mobile and web applications, natural user interfaces, and metadata of multimedia objects.
