Dariusz Rumiński graduated from the Poznań University of Technology. In 2010, he received the M.Sc. degree in Computer Science, minor Software Development Technologies. The topic of his master thesis was "Traffic Patterns in GPS Monitoring Data". In 2009, he received B.Sc. from the Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz. His bachelor thesis topic was: "The Prediction System Using GPS Technology".  His current research interests include augmented reality and human computer interface.

Currently, he is the tutor of AKAI students research group.

  • 10.2015 - 2nd  Grade Team Achievement Award of the Rector of the Poznan University of Economics for outstanding achievements in research and publications in recognized international journals
  • 10.2014 - "Interactive UEP" - 3rd place in a nationwide competition for the best mobile application privacy friendly organised by GIODO, Ministry of Administration nad Digitization, and  Foundation Secure Cyberspace, tutor of AKAI UEP
  • 09.2014 -  Grant for the participation in the IEEE International Symposium on Mixed and Augmented Reality (ISMAR 2014), article: "Semantic Contextual Augmented Reality Environments" (authors: Rumiński., D, K. Walczak)
  • 05-07.2014 - 1st place with Progmate company in competition: "Internships in the IT industry."
