A group of students called TapBoarders from the .NET Group Student Association was representing Poland in the word finals of the Imagine Cup 2013 competition. The team was presenting the project Multiboard and won the  AFT (App Fast Track) Excellence Award for the best applicaton working on Windows 8.  The project was also nominated for AppCampus award sponsored by Nokia and Aalto University. The idea of the AppCampus competition was to appreciate the best solutions working on mobile devices. World finals took place in St. Petersburg (Russia) from 8th to 11th of July 2013 with 87 teams coming from 78 countries. Before taking part in the world finals, TapBoarders won the Polish finals competing with  mote than 50 projects developed in various Polish universities.

Multiboard project is a platform for creating, distributing and running multiplayer electronic board games. The game is played on multiple mobile electronic devices creating one interactive environment for players. The developed standard for game description allows fast and cheap creation of new games.
