The Oracle Academy is a cutting-edge program that provides global education institutions with industry-leading software, curriculum, support, and certification resources that faculty can integrate into their classrooms. As a result, students gain hands-on experience with the latest technologies and develop skills that help them excel in the 21st century workplace. Department of Information Technology is a participant of Oracle Academy. Student attending classes facilitated by DIT have possibility to take advantage of IT solutions offered by Oracle company: Oracle Database, Oracle SQL Developer, Oracle SQL Developer Data Modeler, Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle JDeveloper.

MSDN Academic Alliance

msdnaaMSDN AA provides the easiest and most inexpensive way for universities to make the latest Microsoft software available in labs for educational and research purposes. In the framework of the MSDN AA Program, students and staff of WIGE have a free access to the following Microsoft software: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 2003 Server, Visual Studio, SQL Server, Access, Project, Visio, MSDN Library. The Department of Information Systems is responsible for any administrative matters concerning MSDA AA.

Specialization Electronic Business

Specjalność Biznes ElektronicznyThe Electronic Business Specialization aims at educating a new class of managers who will be prepared for creative and effective working in the global electronic economy. The Electronic Business Specialization Alumnus will be an expert at creating and introducing business solutions and business process reengineering based on information technology in the most profitable way. For this purpose, besides thorough economics education, students will be provided with advanced knowledge and tangible hands-on skills on information and communication technology. All lectures and lab sessions are offered in English.
