Dr inż. Willy Picard uczestniczył w międzynarodowej konferencji The 13th IFIP Working Conference on Virtual Enterprises PRO-VE 2012, która odbyła się w Bournemouth (UK) w dniach od 1 do 3 października 2012 r. Dr inż. Willy Picard pełnił funkcję członka Programme Committee oraz Steering Committee konferencji PRO-VE. Podczas sesji "Identification of Patterns" wygłosił referat pt. "Extracting the Dynamic Popularity of Concepts from a Corpus of Short-Sentence Documents". Ponadto dr inż. Willy Picard przewodniczył obradom sesji "e-Governance".
