The Poznań University of Economics started a new graduate study program Industry 4.0 based on the curriculum developed in the Department of Information Technology in collaboration with other departments of the University and the Faculty of Physics of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań.

"Katedra Technologii Informacyjnych
na Uniwersytecie Ekonomicznym w Poznaniu została założona w 1996 r.
Misją KTI jest łączenie technicznej kreatywności z ekonomiczną
innowacyjnością ponieważ elektroniczna gospodarka zarówno nowych
technologii, jak i nowych modeli biznesowych. Katedra bierze udział w
rozwoju jednych i drugich, z naciskiem na nowe technologie, gdyż jej
kadrę naukową stanowią inżynierowie informatycy.[...]"

Welcome to the Department of Information Technology
The Department of Information Technology (DIT) is part of the Faculty of Informatics and e-Economy of the Poznan University of Economics and Business. The Department is composed of 14 members: 1 full professor, 3 associate professors, 1 assistant professors, 1 senior lecturer and 8 research assistants. The Department also takes care of 2 Ph.D. students. The research members have technical qualifications in computer science and engineering. The head of DIT is Professor Krzysztof Walczak.
